Several Highlanders were named to the 2010 All-District Team for District 14-5A. Spencer Davis was awarded with the district's 'Heart Award' and Coach Eastman was named the district's Coach of the Year. In addition, Bryan Brickhouse, Jameson Taillon, Anthony Azar, Nick Frey, Daniel Homann, Chaz Horton and Elliot Richoux were named to the first team.

TAILLON SELECTED 2ND IN MLB DRAFT
Former highlander eibner selected in 2nd round
Highlander pitcher Jameson Taillon was selected as the 2nd overall pick Monday night by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the MLB draft. Jameson becomes the highest drafted Highlander in school history. Also, former Highlander players Brett Eibner (now at Arkansas, 2nd round) and Steven Maxwell (now at TCU, 12th round) were also taken on day 2 of the draft.
