EPISCOPAL SCORES LATE TO BEAT TWHS

HIGHLANDERs unable to hold lead after scoring 9 runs in 1st inning

Episcopal scored two runs in the top of the 7th inning to come from behind for an 11-10 victory Tuesday night in a non-district contest at Scotland Yard. Dillon Kotsios went 2-3 with 2 RBIs and Ryan Tackett went 2-4 with 2 RBIs. Ben Gooch went 2-2 in the game and Shane Sirdashney had 2 RBIs. The team will play at Oak Ridge Friday night.

The Woodlands wasn't able to hold a 2-1 lead late in the game and fell to College Park at home Monday night 4-2. Ben Gooch put the Highlanders ahead in the fifth inning with a 2 RBI single, but the Cavaliers pushed 3 runs across in the top of the sixth to sweep the season series. Chris Andritsos struck out 5 batters over 6 innings in taking the loss on the mound.

THSBCA has released its April 16th update for its Texas State poll. Click HERE to check out the updated rankings.
